Accelerated wound healing

The BC Device was developed in particular for the treatment of Ulcus cruris, problem wounds, for mycosis, viruses and superficial bacteria. It has also been proven to be extremely efficient for the treatment of the diabetic foot syndrome (DFS) . The device generates a high-intensity bactericidal radiation, which is lethal for fungi, bacteria, viruses and other types of micro organisms. Therefore, it helps to accelerate the wound healing process especially for superinfected.

The system will emit in an area of 110 mm x 90 mm. An additional attachment with disposable tips also allows the treatment of the smallest areas of skin. Sections not to be treated must be protected by zinc oxide liniment or light-proof drapes. It is recommended to include the wound edges into the therapy in order to promote epithelialisation. The device is equipped with a timer for the accurate input of the exposure time. Personal- and patient-safety goggles are included in the delivery.
